My Story.
Sara Spitzer
ADHD and Executive Functioning Coach
I was diagnosed with ADHD in my late 20s after hitting neurodivergent burnout (although I didn’t realize that’s what it was at the time). This diagnosis completely changed the way I saw myself and the world around me. I finally had a explanation for why functioning was so difficult for me sometimes and why it felt like I ran out of steam faster than others. I started learning as much as I could about neurodivergence and now I am excited and honored to help others learn to navigate their brains as well.
My degree is in molecular biology; I’ve worked with DNA sequencing technologies in San Diego and now Seattle. This background allows me to understand and sort through scientific literature to bring my clients the most up-to-date scientific information about ADHD.
I like to balance out my science-y career with art. My favorite hobbies are singing, theatre, choir, swing dancing, and counted cross stitch.
I am currently pursuing multiple coaching certifications. I have taken foundational coaching courses from a well-respected, accredited coaching program (MentorCoach) and I am currently enrolled in advanced coaching courses. Once complete, I will be a certified professional coach through MentorCoach, the International Coaching Federation (ICF), and the Professional Association of ADHD Coaches (PAAC).
